CRAIG LOVELL & EAGLE VISIONS PHOTOGRAPHY

It is Craig’s sincere intent that his photography be utilized in ways which help educate people and promote both environmental health and cultural understanding worldwide in the hopes of creating a more peaceful and sustainable future. His work has documented indigenous cultures and wild places on our ever-changing planet. Craig started Eagle Visions Photography upon his graduation from Brooks Institute of Photography where he studied advertising photography and photojournalism. 

EDITORIAL WORK: Craig maintains a stock photography library of over 24,000 captioned and keyworded images. Digital files are available for either editorial or commercial projects on a rights managed basis. The library is diverse in nature with a strong emphasis on international & domestic travel, wildlife, nature, indigenous cultures, food, agriculture, and architecture.  He is represented by Alamy, Getty and UIG stock agencies. FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY: A selection of tightly edited images have been selected for your viewing pleasure and can be purchased as fine art prints.  Craig creates finely crafted images from his travels in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Other portfolios include jazz, figure studies and soulful black and white portraits from around the world.  His work has been displayed in numerous group exhibitions and one man shows. 

COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY: Craig runs his commercial photography business from his studio in Carmel Valley. Specialties include food, sculpture, products of all types, annual reports, architecture, agriculture, fashion and portraits. His ability to design and light finely crafted images has satisfied a wide variety of commercial clients. This same illustrative ability is reflected in the commercial images he has produced for the stock photography market.  “Advertising photography has always been a joy for me, providing the opportunity to work closely with both ad agencies & clients to help them market their goods and services. The creative challenge of making a marketing concept come to life in a visually effective way is always exciting.”

PUBLISHED WORK AND SPECIAL PROJECTS AND SERVICES: Craig’s book “Nepal the Himalayan Kingdom” was published by Tiger Press.  He has had a dozen calendars published as the sole photographer as well as two lines of note cards (Sacred Light and Natural Light), which are available for sale.  His work has been published thousands of times in magazines, books, calendars, websites, and advertisements.
